Problem:
The outdated proprietary IO control system stopped functioning and was beyond repair. It made the process tool unusable.
This shut down the production line as there was no backup tool.
Solution:
Replace the outdated proprietary IO controls and software with modern open-standard hardware and software.
Qualtx has a pre-build IO panel in inventory at all times, so when a system goes down, we can get the new equipment installed immediately.
Results:
Qualtx installed a new open-standards IO control system and replaced all of the signal cables and DC power supplies.
The new control software runs on the latest version of Windows 11. The new control software features multi-user login, manual mode, fully automated mode, data logging, unlimited recipe storage, and alarms.
The new IO and software were installed onsite in the customer cleanroom within 3-days. Once the system was back online, the operators commented on its ease of use compared to the old software.
